The record itself is in either new or near new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as posters, inner sleeves etc. are in perfect or near perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Un-played should be Mint.

The record shows some minimal signs of having been played and there is very little effect in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have very slight wear and/or creasing.

The record has been played many times, however there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite having noticeable surface marks and the occasional very light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items such as ring wear etc.

The record has been played regularly which has affected the sound quality. Shows signs of some distortion with mild scratches. The cover and contents also show signs of folding, scuffed edges, split spines and discolouration.

The record itself if just playable and displays considerable surface noise and occasional jumping. The cover and contents may be torn or defaced with names etc.

The record will not play properly due to scratches and major surface noise. The cover and contents not cared for and damaged.
